About this Position
The Media Supervisor, Paid Social is responsible for the execution of ongoing paid social media campaign activations for Lexus and the management of the team working on them. The ideal candidate has a passion for paid media, specifically social media, and a proven track record of implementing successful paid social media tactics on multiple platforms. This person must also possess a passion for continuous improvement and learning as the landscape continues to evolve.
Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of two Social Media Strategists/Assistants on the Lexus national business.
- Communicate with AMD on issues and timelines.
- Delegate and follow up on projects with the team as well as other agency departments to ensure timely completion.
- Act as the first touch contact to the media planning, operations, and analytics teams.
- Contribute to development of ongoing paid social media activation plans based on Lexus RFPs.
- Place social media advertising campaigns across various platforms based on agreed upon campaign strategy.
- Utilize advanced targeting strategies to execute complex campaigns, including custom audiences, third‑party data, suppression lists, lookalike audiences and more.
- Optimize campaign buys to ensure budgets are spent as effectively as possible each month.
- Work closely with all platform partners to ensure plans constantly push the envelope and include the latest and greatest ad tech and formats available for automotive.
- Develop technically accurate media points of view for activation recommendations and campaign outcomes.
- Manage all financials for Lexus including campaign spend, fees, and ensure all billing is properly actualized each month.
- Manage and optimize campaign activation workflow and communication protocol between planning, operations, creative, analytics, and managed service teams.
- Communicate key learnings to appropriate agency stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency of campaign deployment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4-6 years of paid media experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience with paid social advertising and client management.
- Proficiency in Meta, Twitter, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Snapchat, You Tube, Reddit, Linked In, and Twitch including each platform’s core features and each network’s advertising capabilities.
- Proficiency with both Business Manager and Ad Manager dashboards for all core platforms, including ad placement, budget management, pixel creation, offline event sets, and advanced reporting.
- Able to multi-task to effectively manage multiple projects and campaigns at once.
- Experience handling large media budgets and developing insights based on campaign results.
- Proficiency in tools including Sprinklr, Google Campaign Manager; experience in Box, Google Docs, Prisma, etc.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and campaigns at once.
- Facebook Blueprint Media Buying Certification required.
- Passion for social media, avid user, and a desire to stay in the loop on the latest social media trends, capabilities, and platforms.
- Self‑motivated, well‑organized, and assertive, with strong analytical and deductive skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Automotive experience is strongly preferred.
