Symbiotic Services is partnering with a leading premium consumer products manufacturer to identify an experienced Marketing Director. This leadership role is ideal for a strategic marketer who excels at building compelling product and brand stories, driving revenue through integrated marketing initiatives, and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be passionate about product marketing, brand development, and creating exceptional customer experiences across multiple sales channels, including retail, hospitality, and residential trade.

You'll Do

As the Marketing Director, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, increase product demand, and support overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the organization's brand champion, ensuring consistency across all marketing initiatives and communications.
  • Develop and execute integrated product marketing strategies that drive sales across multiple distribution channels.
  • Create and manage promotional calendars, retail marketing initiatives, product launches, pricing support, packaging, labeling, merchandising materials, and sales collateral.
  • Analyze campaign performance and market data to optimize marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Lead product lifecycle marketing initiatives for both new and existing product lines.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Development, Engineering, Merchandising, Sales, and Digital teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing marketing support.
  • Develop consistent brand messaging across print, digital, public relations, sponsor ships, partnerships, and sales communications.
  • Oversee public relations efforts, including media relationships, editorial planning, and industry outreach.
  • Partner with Human Resources to support internal communications initiatives.
  • Equip sales teams with effective tools, training materials, and product messaging.
  • Work with digital marketing partners to maintain brand consistency across all digital channels and paid media campaigns.
  • Lead planning and execution of major industry trade shows and events.
  • Monitor competitive activity and communicate industry insights throughout the organization.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget and strategic marketing plan.
  • Oversee all print production and vendor management.

  • Passion for premium consumer products, design, lifestyle, or home furnishings is highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within consumer products, retail, furniture, interior design, apparel, or a related industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years leading integrated marketing campaigns that include digital marketing, product marketing, and internal/external communications.
  • Experience using analytics and market data to guide strategic decisions.
  • Broad knowledge of strategic marketing, business development, communications, market research, and advertising.
  • Ability to travel domestically approximately 15-20%, including support for semi-annual industry trade events.
