Love Events, Travel & Working With Incredible Brands?

Want to build a career in events while getting hands‑on experience with major brands, luxury experiences and national activations?

Make Your Life Sweeter® creates unforgettable experiential events and brand activations for clients including Meta, FIFA, Neiman Marcus, Creed Fragrance and many others.

We're looking for an energetic, charismatic and highly organized Event Planning Coordinator to join our Dallas team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn event planning, event production, experiential marketing, hospitality and guest experience from the inside.

And this is definitely not a desk‑only event planning job.

You could spend one day updating an event plan in Asana, preparing materials and helping with a client presentation. The next, you could be traveling to another city, setting up an activation, interacting with hundreds of guests and helping the team execute an incredible event.

If you're organized, resourceful, great with people and the person who naturally jumps in when something needs to get done, we want to meet you.

What You'll Do Event Planning & Coordination
  • Assist with planning corporate events, brand activations and luxury experiences
  • Manage event checklists, timelines, tasks and deadlines in Asana
  • Coordinate logistics, supplies, production details and event materials
  • Assist with client meetings, tastings and presentations
  • Help prepare proposals, presentations and visual materials
  • Communicate with team members to keep event details organized and on schedule
Event Production & Execution
  • Travel throughout DFW and nationally for select events
  • Assist with event load-in, setup, styling and production
  • Prepare equipment, products, signage and event materials
  • Help execute interactive experiences and brand activations onsite
  • Troubleshoot unexpected challenges quickly and resourcefully
  • Maintain displays and experiences throughout events
  • Assist with breakdown, cleanup, packing and equipment organization

Yes, our events can be glamorous.
The work behind them is hands‑on.

We're looking for someone who is just as willing to help pack boxes and clean up after an event as they are to interact with VIP guests.

Guest Experience
  • Welcome and engage guests with confidence, warmth and energy
  • Help guests participate in interactive experiences
  • Represent Make Your Life Sweeter® professionally with clients, executives and event partners
  • Anticipate guest and client needs
  • Help create the exceptional hospitality experience our clients expect
Office & Production
  • Prepare packaging, labels, signage and event materials
  • Organize event inventory, supplies and equipment
  • Track inventory and assist with reorders
  • Keep event materials organized and event-ready
  • Support the team with preparation for upcoming events
You Might Be Perfect for This Role If You...
  • Love people and genuinely enjoy making others feel welcome
  • Are naturally outgoing, positive and personable
  • Are extremely organized and love checklists
  • Notice little details other people miss
  • Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do
  • Are dependable and follow through
  • Stay calm when something doesn't go according to plan
  • Are resourceful and willing to figure things out
  • Enjoy fast‑paced environments
  • Are comfortable learning technology and new systems
  • Love working with a team and helping wherever needed
  • Are excited about traveling
  • Don't mind getting your hands dirty during setup and breakdown
  • Want to grow into greater responsibility and eventually lead events
Experience

This is an entry‑level opportunity.

You do not need years of professional event experience to apply.

We're more interested in finding someone with the right personality, work ethic, organization and attitude who is eager to learn.

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

  • Event planning or event production
  • Hospitality
  • Hotels or restaurants
  • Luxury retail
