Senior Industry Marketing Strategist

• Shape and build go-to-market messaging for industry solutions and services
• Translate technical concepts and complex patterns into clear business value
• Partner with field sales teams on enablement, account planning, and high-impact client engagements
• Provide feedback from the field to R&D and product management on market shifts and evolving requirements
• Build industry solution messaging and core narratives for sales and marketing activation
• Represent Open Text industry solutions at events, trade shows, and analyst engagements
• Monitor market segmentation, competitive dynamics, and emerging industry signals
• Represent Open Text in industry work groups, committees, and standards bodies
• Advise product, sales, marketing, and alliance teams to drive alignment and outcomes
• Shape Open Text's global insurance strategy and AI industry solutions

Requirements

• 8–15 years of relevant industry experience across technical GTM functions, including sales, product/industry marketing, product management, and professional services
• Firsthand experience engaging with insurance organizations within the financial services sector
• Curiosity about AI developments and ability to connect emerging technology trends to client requirements and solution development priorities
• Proven experience addressing industry-specific challenges across data, AI, information management, and/or cybersecurity
• Ability to translate complex business and regulatory requirements into outcome-driven solutions
• Track record building and delivering industry messaging through GTM campaigns, field sales plays, and executive-level presentations
• Excellent public speaking skills
• Deep fluency in industry innovations, emerging trends, and competitive landscape
• Experience with standards definition and working in forums, councils, or steering committees is a plus
• Deep industry knowledge combined with Open Text product expertise is a plus
