VP of Marketing | AI-Powered Construction Tech
About the company:
This company builds AI-powered smart camera hardware and software that give construction firms a live, data-driven view of their job sites - timelapse monitoring, equipment and personnel tracking, and automated progress-vs-plan reporting. They recently closed a Series A, are cashflow positive, growing 70%+ year over year, and already work with 100+ customers including several of the largest construction firms in their home market.
Originally built in the Asia-Pacific region, the company is now actively expanding across North America and the UK.
This is a true "employee #1 in marketing" opportunity - you'll be building the function from the ground up, not inheriting one.
What you'll do:- Build and lead the marketing function from scratch - brand, positioning, content, demand generation, and product marketing
- Develop the go-to-market strategy and messaging as the company enters new international markets
- Establish marketing infrastructure, tooling, and reporting where none currently exists
- Partner closely with sales and the executive team to align marketing with an ambitious growth target
- Hire and build out a team as the function scales
- 8-10+ years of B2B marketing leadership experience
- A track record of building and scaling a marketing function from the ground up at a high-growth startup (ideally B2B SaaS, hardware-enabled software, or industrial/vertical tech)
- Comfort operating without a playbook - equal parts strategic and hands-on
- Experience supporting a company's expansion into new geographies
- Strong storytelling instincts for a technical, industry-specific buyer (construction, industrial, or proptech experience is a big plus)
Compensation, equity, and full company details are shared confidentially.
