Summary:
Mendocino Farms is looking for a Performance Media Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our full-funnel, digitally led media efforts. This role sits at the intersection of brand and performance—owning campaign planning, channel strategy, media investment, and measurement, while working closely with our agency partners to ensure every dollar works harder.
You’ll be responsible for turning business priorities into smart, data-driven media plans, driving performance across awareness, consideration, and conversion, and building a best-in-class media and analytics engine as we continue to scale nationally.
This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role that partners closely with Brand, Digital, Insights, Finance, and Ops—and plays a critical role in how we grow demand, traffic, and loyalty for Mendocino Farms.
This is a senior individual contributor manager role requiring someone comfortable owning multiple campaigns, managing meaningful budgets, and leading performance across a complex, multi-channel media ecosystem.
Full-Funnel Media Strategy & Planning- Own the development of full-funnel media strategies across digital channels (paid search, paid social, programmatic, video, OLV/CTV, etc.), aligned to brand and business objectives.
- Translate business goals, campaign priorities, and seasonal moments into clear, effective media plans and investment strategies.
- Balance brand and performance objectives, ensuring the right mix of upper-, mid-, and lower-funnel tactics.
- Build channel and campaign strategies that support core business priorities including brand campaigns, menu launches, new store openings, third-party delivery, and catering growth.
- Own day-to-day management of media budgets, ensuring dollars are allocated for maximum impact and aligned to business priorities.
- Actively manage sufficiency across channels and campaigns—adjusting investment levels, phasing, and mixes to ensure campaigns are properly funded to perform.
- Monitor pacing, performance, and ROI, and reallocate spend dynamically based on results, seasonality, and business needs.
- Partner with Finance and agency teams to support forecasting, scenario planning, and in-flight budget optimization.
- Lead day-to-day performance management of campaigns in partnership with agency teams, ensuring strong pacing, optimization, and results.
- Set clear KPIs, learning agendas, and testing roadmaps to continuously improve performance.
- Partner with creative and brand teams to ensure media and messaging work together to drive impact.
- Monitor performance closely and make data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency, scale winners, and address underperformance.
- Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously across different objectives, audiences, and channels.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day lead for performance media agency partners.
- Set clear briefs, expectations, and success metrics for agency partners.
- Lead weekly and monthly performance reviews, ensuring insights translate into action and optimization.
- Hold partners accountable for strategic thinking, strong execution, testing rigor, and continuous improvement.
- Own media performance reporting and dashboards, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and business relevance.
