Program Coordinator

Summary of the Position:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for direct support for the Dallas County program and Program Director.

* Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the program, particularly as it relates to contract compliance, service delivery, and the client intake/referral process for services.

* This position oversees the Advocacy Services as it relates to the client case management and providing community outreach and support.

* The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit.

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree preferred with commensurate experience in community-based agency programs except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree.

* At minimum, at least one-year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets.

* Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.

* Experience in the provision of home and community-based services is a plus.

* Willing a consider non-degreed applicant with 2-5 years of experience.

* Computer skills are necessary;
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other database software.

* Experience using an electronic health record system is a plus.

* Reliable insured transportation, current auto insurance coverage, and valid driver's license required.

* Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
