Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL) aims to cut child poverty in half in a generation. We convene partners and community members to improve health and economic outcomes for parents in Dallas. Help us make a difference and reduce crime through mutual aid.
Event DetailsFamilies will be invited to a resource fair designed to provide fun while offering resources to alleviate financial burdens and improve quality of life. Families who attend will receive:
- benefits screenings
- healthcare resources
- early education resources
- criminal justice and legal aid
- housing support
- safety resources
Volunteers will:
- set up
- bag up produce
- distribute food, produce, household items, and other goods
- greet families
- support intake
- help vendors
- play with children
- support families to navigate the event
- break down
