Opportunities available in the heart of DallasThe Development Coordinator provides administrative, fundraising, donor stewardship, and marketing support to the Development team to advance the organization's philanthropic goals. This position plays an integral role in coordinating fundraising events, managing donor communications and data, conducting prospect research, developing marketing materials, and supporting annual giving initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about building meaningful relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders.

Salary Range: $58,000 to $63,000
Here’s a Sneak Peek At What You’ll Do- Coordinate and provide administrative support for fundraising events and special events throughout the year.
- Assist with the planning and execution of North Texas Giving Day, including donor communications, volunteer coordination, and stewardship activities.
- Support the organization and delivery of the Annual Healing Hands Luncheon, anniversary celebrations, and other signature fundraising events.
- Solicit and secure auction, raffle, sponsorship, and in‑kind donations to support fundraising initiatives.
- Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, volunteer management, registration, timelines, and event operations.
- Create and maintain event‑related materials such as invitations, signage, programs, sponsorship packages, presentations, and promotional collateral.
- Prepare donor acknowledgments, thank‑you letters, tax receipts, and stewardship communications to strengthen donor relationships.
- Maintain accurate donor records, process contributions, manage CRM data, and generate fundraising and donor performance reports.
- Conduct prospect research to identify, qualify, and cultivate individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
- Build and maintain donor prospect pipelines while identifying new funding opportunities and supporting fundraising campaigns through data analysis and tracking.
- Design and produce marketing materials that promote fundraising campaigns, organizational initiatives, and community impact.
- Support email marketing, social media, newsletters, patient stories, grant‑related communications, and other development projects while ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
To be a productive member of our team, you will have a pleasant and professional demeanor, be a self‑starter, the ability to work independently, strong communication skills, and the ability to preserve confidentiality. You will also have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, business, ora related field preferred.
- Two or more years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit administration, event coordination, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with donor databases or CRM systems; prospect research experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate reports and interpret fundraising data.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
