Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology (Outpatient)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Patient Volume: Approximately 16–17 patients per day

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient cardiology team serving Waxahachie and Dallas, TX
. This role focuses on general cardiology in a clinic-based setting and offers a consistent weekday schedule with limited weekend responsibility.

The position is split between two locations:

• Waxahachie clinic – 3 days per week
• Dallas clinic – 2 days per week

New graduates are welcome to apply
, though cardiology experience is strongly preferred.

• Provide outpatient care for general cardiology patients
• Conduct patient evaluations, follow-ups, and ongoing disease management
• Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document care plans and coordinate patient services
• Participate in infrequent weekend rounding rotation at Greenville Hunt Regional

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• No call requirements for APPs
• Weekend rounding approximately one weekend every 2–3 months

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Licensed or eligible for APRN licensure in Texas
• National NP board certification
• Cardiology experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
