Job Summary and Qualifications

The Division Director of Nursing for the Surgery Ventures Group ensures high quality, patient‑centered care through effectively resourcing while providing expertise on clinical care operations within the division. The Director coordinates and effectively communicates operational standards and best practices to further enhance clinical outcomes and patient experience. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of SVG strategies, policies, and procedures in support of center objectives and evidence‑based practices.

The Director of Nursing evaluates and acts on opportunities identified in nursing care delivery, professional development, and evidence‑based practices working closely with the SVG CNE.

What you will do in this role:
  • Cultivates a superior clinical environment by identifying and communicating evidence‑based practices regarding clinical care to advance patient safety and quality outcomes, in collaboration with the SVG Medical Director and leadership team.
  • Supports adherence to standards of care through effective communication with SVG leadership and sharing of evidence‑based practices across SVG and Division.
  • Manages variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.
  • Assists to ensures a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care.
  • Stays abreast of internal/external benchmarks, accreditations, and designations and actively pursues efforts to achieve.
  • Stays abreast of legal and regulatory standards and ensures these are communicated with SVG leadership teams. Assists to monitor compliance.
