Work location:

Texas Health Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours:

Full Time, 36 hours weekly, Days 7am-7pm, weekend and holiday requirements

Training:
Must be able to attend orientation and training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire

Nursing Pool Department highlights:

Here’s What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or
  • Associate's degree in Nursing required or
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
  • 1 year of PCCU or Telemetry experience preferred
  • Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire and
  • NRPA - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program For staff floating to areas where they will be delivering care and resuscitating neonates required within 90 days of hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
