AP Health invites skilled advanced practice providers to join our dedicated team in the greater Dallas‑Fort Worth area. We provide perioperative services to hospitals, surgeons, and surgery centers.
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead CRNA to play a pivotal leadership role on our team.
This is NOT a travel, locum, placement, or per diem position. AP Health is not a staffing company.
What you will do:- Provide safe, high‑quality anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical and procedural services, including pre‑anesthesia assessment, intraoperative management, and post‑anesthesia evaluation.
- Participate in and help manage anesthesia scheduling, including coordinating daily case coverage, balancing staffing needs, and adjusting assignments to maintain efficient operating room flow.
- Serve as a clinical leader and mentor to CRNA staff by supporting onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing leadership, and administration to improve perioperative workflows, address operational challenges, and support timely case starts and turnover.
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives by monitoring anesthesia practices, participating in audits or reviews, and helping implement evidence‑based protocols and best practices.
- Ensure anesthesia services remain compliant with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies while assisting with policy development and process improvements.
- Assist in the facilitation of recruiting and building an internal CRNA team.
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with an active, unrestricted license to practice in Texas.
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program and eligible for credentialing and privileging within the surgery center.
- Minimum of 5 years of anesthesia experience in a hospital and/or ambulatory surgery center setting.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a lead, charge, or management role, including oversight of staff or operational responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills with the ability to support staff and work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and administrative leadership.
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in perioperative care.
- Ability to assist with staffing coordination, scheduling processes, and operational planning for anesthesia services.
