** Duties/Responsibilities
*** Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care provided for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, and adolescents
* Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, for a designated time frame, and provides quality care to these patients
* Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment#
** Required Skills/Abilities
*** Must be a graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
* Hold current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or is eligible for reciprocity and holds a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners to practice professional nursing
* 1 or more years of experience as an RN
* Pediatric nursing experience preferred
* Current CPR certification required
* Must obtain PALS certification within 1 year of employment
* Demonstrate advanced and mature critical thinking and assessment skills
