Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics
Our mission is to provide quality healthcare to all in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. We are seeking an engaging Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Pediatrics team in Kaufman. In this role you will create a welcoming environment and help ensure an exemplary patient experience for a diverse, underserved patient population.
Responsibilities- Provide routine and annual examinations and sick visits.
- Conduct preventative screenings and provide comprehensive care.
- Counsel and educate patients on chronic diseases and treatment options.
- Assist in our mission to provide access to quality care for all.
- Perform office‑based procedures.
- Work with a diverse, underserved patient population in Dallas.
- Share your expertise and best practices to help us become the provider of choice.
- BSN and/or NP from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent; current RN or NP license to practice in Texas.
- Registered and possess current DEA, DPS and other required certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in Texas, or the ability to obtain them.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
- Excellent patient engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in community health centers and/or non‑profits is preferred, along with serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations.
- Experience with eClinical
Works or similar electronic medical record systems. - Strong MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Serve with a servant heart and a desire to make a positive impact.
- Ability to float to various clinics in the DFW area.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
