Job Overview
Palm Health is hiring an experienced Pediatric Inpatient Cardiac Surgery Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Dallas, TX. The position is a 13‑week contract starting either April 2026 or June 2026.
Contract and CompensationHourly rate of $120–$130, with Palm Health covering malpractice practice, lodging, travel, rental car/mileage, and additional benefits.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced practice nursing or physician assistant support to post‑operation pediatric patients in the Cardiac Pediatric ICU, with occasional coverage on a 6‑8 bed floor unit.
- Work 12‑13 hour shifts, days or nights, with weekend rotations, and be available for at least 8 shifts in any four‑week period.
- Accept emergency credentialing as required.
- Minimum of one year of pediatric critical care experience as an advanced practice provider.
- Certification as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or experience as a Physician Assistant.
