Overview

Full‑time Monday‑Friday 8:30am‑5pm position with no weekends, call, or major holidays. The level (1, 2, or Sr) depends on experience.

Texas Oncology is looking for a Full‑time Clinical Research Nurse (RN) to join the Dallas Sammons location.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with physicians to identify and screen potential patients for clinical trial participation.
  • Present trial concepts and details to oncology patients while conducting the informed consent process.
  • Assess patients for adverse events and/or changes in condition.
  • Provide staff and patient education regarding the management and administration of investigational product.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry to meet trial requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinic departments to ensure proper trial conduct.
Qualifications Level 1
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing education program (BSN preferred).
  • Current registered nurse license in state of practice.
  • Current BLCS or ACLS certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
  • OCN certification strongly preferred.
  • CCRC or CCRP certification preferred.
  • Oncology or research experience preferred.
Level 2
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
Level Sr
  • Minimum seven years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.

Requires full range of motion, handling and lifting patients and items up to 40 lbs, standing and walking for extended periods, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, and corrected vision and hearing.
