Overview
We are seeking an Trauma RN Manager. The Trauma Nursing Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Trauma Services, ensuring safe patient flow, proper staffing, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. They will support and develop nursing staff while collaborating with physicians and other teams to deliver efficient, high-quality care. The Trauma RN Manager also monitors key performance metrics, manages resources, and leads initiatives that improve patient outcomes and department readiness.

Responsibilities- Responsible for coordinating resources and activities necessary to ensure the Trauma Services meets regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates the collection of Trauma data and maintains statistical information for the Trauma Registry.
- Coordinates the tracking of Trauma patients throughout the Trauma system (pre-hospital to rehabilitation).
- Coordinates trauma educational programs for the institution as well as public education and prevention programs in the community.
- Teaching and coordination of educational program experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative relationship with other health care members in the promotion and provision of comprehensive patient care.
- Communication/writing skills, considerable emotional/physical/mental stamina and stability.
- Current and valid state RN License required.
- Current BLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
- TNCC required upon hire and maintain current.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital emergency department.
- Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential.
- Team approach to patient care.
- Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.
- Day and evening flexibility required.
- ENPC and CEN or CCRN preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
