Center Manager – Registered Nurse

Location: COPPELL, TX - 113 STATE HWY 121, STE 110

Clinic

Hours:

8am – 4pm; M - F

Schedule: Full‑Time

The Center Manager – Registered Nurse is responsible for the oversight of staffing, facility operations, quality and safety of patient care, flow, and processes within the infusion suite while providing services to patients within the nurse’s scope of practice.

Responsibilities
  • Assign work details and patient care to available staff within the facility as needed.
  • Abide by company policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local guidelines and practices.
  • Monitor clinical staff for compliance with company policies/procedures and take immediate corrective action.
  • Screen all new referrals to the infusion center for clinical appropriateness.
  • Ensure all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up to date prior to treatment.
  • Forward all patient documentation to clinical staff in the appropriate location and to reimbursement staff.
  • Delegate responsibilities to staff to ensure appropriate levels of medications, infusion, and office supplies are maintained to contain inventory costs.
  • Oversee the administration of infusion therapy to patients per company and governing guidelines.
  • Maintain a daily schedule of patient visits in designated scheduling software.
  • Handle customer/patient complaints in a fair and empathetic manner.
  • Be responsible for center staffing, utilizing part‑time and PRN staff to ensure schedule coverage.
  • Assure that INS, State Department of Health, and Infusion Therapy Program standards of care and clinical practice are maintained through new hire orientation and annual competency assessments, as well as daily monitoring of care provided by clinic staff.
  • Recruit, retain, develop, and evaluate qualified staff on an ongoing basis.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing and a minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
  • Experience with IVs required.
  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted RN license to practice in the applicable state(s) or territory of the United States.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required for this position.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences
  • Experience with IV insertion and maintenance is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with port, PICC, and peripheral lines is preferred.
  • Infusion reaction management experience is preferred.
  • Titration experience is preferred.
  • Medication mixing and infusion experience is preferred.
  • Management experience is preferred.
