RN – Registered Nurse (Orthopedic Medical Surgery)

Contract:

$1,295 weekly stipend, $7.25 per hour, $261 weekly base pay, onsite contract, 13‑week assignment starting 7/20/2026.

Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per day, 3 nights per week.

Location:

11990 N Central Express Way, Dallas, TX – Floor 2, Building Spine, Unit 2N (Ortho 62036).

• Number of beds: 22
• Number of staff: 36
• Patient ratio: 1:5 with ancillary support
• Equipment: PCA pump, ice machine, Welch alyn vital sign machine, tele box, IV pump
• Electronic Medical Record:
  Meditech
• On‑call requirement:
  None
• Floating:
  Often within MCHS to Tele, occasionally to MCD

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS and BLS certification
• Medsurg experience preferred
• Ability to work required shifts with minimal request time off (RTO)

• Orthopedic surgery experience
• Post‑operative unit (PCU) experience

• Trachelectomy / meningeal cyst removal
• Joint reconstruction (hips, knees)
• Lumbar and cervical disc surgery
• Orthopedic spine surgery
