Job Description
General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) – locum tenens support (
Start Date:
ASAP). Available shifts: 12 hours; weekend pay rate: $101.85 - $110.25.
Dallas, Texas.
Responsibilities & Scope- Schedule:
6a‑6p, with weekend coverage. - Practice setting:
Inpatient general surgery/trauma consultation coverage for adult patients. - Types of cases:
Inpatient consultation coverage. - Credentialing timeframe: 45‑60 days.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): eClinical
Works.
- Nurse Practitioner must hold Acute Care Adult certification.
- Physician Assistant must be Board certified or Texas standard.
- Both must have Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Licensure:
Texas licensure, DEA license, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
- Medical or dental malpractice insurance provided.
- Competitive pay.
