RN Operating Room

Medical City Healthcare seeks an RN Operating Room nurse to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care. You will prepare and support patients through all surgical phases, maintain aseptic technique, and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team. Responsibilities include patient assessment, intraoperative monitoring, accurate documentation, and strict adherence to safety and infection-control standards. • Provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients in the operating room
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and support the surgical team during procedures
• Prepare, verify, and manage surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
• Monitor patient status, document care in EMR, and communicate with interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on perioperative processes and post‑op expectations
• Follow all safety, infection control, and hospital policies, participating in quality improvement initiatives

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
• Prior perioperative/OR nursing experience in an acute care setting
