Texas Oncology is looking for a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team supporting our Dallas Sammons location. This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday position (8:30 am‑5 pm) with no weekends, on‑call duties, or major holidays.

What is the Long‑Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)?The LTIP is an incentive program that typically vests over a three‑year period and is tied to individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology. Awards are discretionary and based on position, performance, and potential for future career growth. Awards are reviewed and approved during the annual compensation review and are subject to continued employment through the award payment date.
Whatdoes the Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) do?
Under general supervision, the RN provides professional nursing care for patients, adheres to national and company standards, recognizes the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care, and participates in company‑wide quality initiatives while supporting the U.S. Oncology Compliance Program.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
- Assess health status by interviewing patients regarding current status and medical history.
- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and other instructional material.
- Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
- Facilitate clinical operations and patient care.
- Manage patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy telephone line and record the information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals, and future appointments for patients.
- Triage patient phone calls as needed and document relevant information in the patient chart.
- Facilitate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team and coordinate services related to patient care.
- Assist patients in locating available community resources.
- Collaborate with interprofessional staff.
- Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.
- Level I
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must maintain continuing education requirements.
- Entry level: 0–3 years nursing experience; oncology experience strongly preferred.
- Level II
- Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience; oncology experience strongly preferred.
- Level Senior
- Minimum five (5) years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology strongly preferred.
- Oncology certification preferred.

Physical RequirementsThe physical demands of this job include full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range are required.
