Overview
Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at the Dallas, Tx location. This is a full-time position Monday – Friday (hours 8:30am-5pm) with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Job DescriptionUnder minimal supervision, the RN provides professional nursing care for patients, adheres to national and company standards, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team. The RN also supports the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote the continuity of care in accordance with established standards.
- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
- Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction and supervision.
- Administer all medications and blood products, ensuring correct dosage, route, time, and technique.
- Ensure pre-authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained before administering therapies where applicable.
- Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient labs, consulting protocols or treatment plans, calculating dose, and communicating with the physician regarding dosage modifications, problems, and symptom management.
- Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments provided.
- Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.

Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 0–3 years of RN experience.
- Willingness to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidates.
- Current RN state license in the practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical RequirementsRequires full range of body motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods, occasional lifting of items up to 40 lbs, and corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
