Love your job and feel fulfilled as an In‑Home Care Licensed Vocational Nurse. Family Tree Private Care is searching for full‑time, part‑time, and PRN LVNs. We are looking for compassionate nurses with a passion for service, family values, and a true desire to help the elderly. Nursing positions offer flexible schedule options in an enjoyable, warm, positive, and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Travel to assigned patient’s homes and manage their care plan according to physician’s instructions.
- Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
- Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
- Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
- Educate caregivers and family on aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
- Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
- Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.
- Strong interpersonal skills that allow building personal rapport and trust to provide high‑quality care while increasing patients’ enjoyment and comfort.
- Initiative to make independent decisions when required and accept direction and requests from patients.
- Ability to follow instructions yet act independently if necessary.
- Excellent observational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently.
- Flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments.
- Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs.
- Relevant license and certification.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the home care industry (or related industry such as hospice, home health, hospital, etc.).
Salary: $30 an hour
