Texas Health Dallas Hospital Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit (NTICU) is hosting a Virtual Interview Hiring Event and would like to invite you and your friends, family, and coworkers to attend.

We're looking for healthcare professionals like you to join our Texas Health family!

  • NTICU Nurse joining an expanding, well established NTICU team
  • Have the opportunity to work with ECMO Patients
  • Work in a 30-bed CVICU that is a Level I Trauma facility

WORK SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

  • Nights
  • Weekend and Holiday requirements for each shift

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
  • BSN preferred.
  • 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program Required;
  • One or more years of Neuro ICU experience strongly preferred
  • RN
    - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS upon hire
    - Require upon Hire
  • ACLS upon hire
    - Require upon Hire
  • CPI within 30 days of hire
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Intervenes as appropriate
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
