Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Location
Dallas, TX (5750 Pineland Dr., Dallas, TX)
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary and reproductive healthcare for women across the lifespan.
- Perform office-based procedures, exams, and screenings (pelvic exams, Pap smears, STI testing).
- Diagnose and treat gynecologic and reproductive health conditions.
- Offer contraception counseling, prescribe birth control, and support family planning.
- Deliver prenatal and postpartum care for low-risk pregnancies.
- Assist in our mission to provide access to quality care to all.
- Work with a diverse, underserved patient population in the heart of Dallas.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options, and community resources.
- MSN, BSN, and/or NP from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent; current RN or NP license to practice in Texas.
- Registered and have current DEA, DPS, and other certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in Texas, or ability to obtain them.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
- Excellent patient engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in community health centers and/or non-profits is preferred.
- Experience serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations.
- Experience with eClinical
Works or similar electronic medical record systems. - MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
