Cambridge Caregivers is seeking compassionate and skilled PRN Registered Nurses to join our private duty/home health company nursing team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, working prn shifts in the Dallas area, administer medications, and monitor ongoing health needs in accordance with each patient’s individualized care plan. Our RNs work independently in the field while collaborating closely with our Director of Nursing to ensure safe, high-quality care.
This position is ideal for nurses who value autonomy, flexibility, and meaningful one-on-one patient care.

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.)
- Administer medications as ordered
- Provide wound care, including dressing changes and monitoring healing
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and home care strategies
- Respond to patient concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with Director of Nursing regarding changes in patient condition
- Perform ongoing patient data collection and maintain accurate documentation
- Develop, update, and follow individualized care plans
- Ensure all orders are followed, documented, and communicated appropriately
- Assist with emergency response measures when necessary
Maintain a clean and safe environment - Build trust and rapport with patients and families
- Deliver exceptional patient experience through responsiveness and care
- Serve as a resource and mentor to patient care staff
- Pursue ongoing professional development
- Support and uphold the mission, values, and philosophy of Cambridge Caregivers
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Current RN license in the state of Texas and/or compact license
- Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and follow clinical direction
- Compassionate, professional, and patient focused demeanor
