RN ED Seasonal

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for seasonal emergency department assignments at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC). The contract is 13 weeks (excluding a Monday‑Friday orientation week), offering a seasonal rate of $51/hr, a $1,500 completion bonus, and a pathway to full‑time employment.

• Level I Trauma Magnet Facility – highest level of practice in ER.
• Patient ratios: 4:1.
• Number of beds: 80.
• Open status: PRN Seasonal 13 weeks.
• Open shifts: 7 am–7 pm (Day).

• Provide high‑acuity patient care in a fast‑paced emergency department setting.
• Participate in continuous learning, mentoring, and team development initiatives.
• Adhere to RN scope of practice and operational protocols within the ED.
• Support patient safety and deliver evidence‑based nursing care.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license with at least 1 year of ED experience.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

• 13‑week assignment, excluding orientation week. The first week is Monday‑Friday orientation. Weekend requirements match regular full‑time shifts.

• Seasonal hourly rate: $51/hr.
