Full Time- 36 Hours; – Day Shift; three 12-hour shifts with variable days Monday–Friday. On-call coverage required.

• Texas Health Dallas has 24 Main OR Suites, 2 Endovascular rooms, 3 Robot rooms, 2 Heart rooms.
• Fast Paced, High Volume of Robot, Urology, Plastics, GYN service line
• Level I Trauma facility. Strong Minimally Invasive CV program

• Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma
• BSN (Preferred)
• 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required)
• At least 1 year of RN experience with 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• RN
  - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)
• BCLS
  - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)
• ACLS
  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (Preferred)

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills
• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
