Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full-Time

Role

Provides professional and technical nursing care within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Administers direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, supervises team members, ensures safe medication and IV administration, and fosters a therapeutic environment. Communicates effectively, builds relationships, and takes accountability for performance and professional growth. Adheres to hospital standards, manages patient education, and maintains accurate documentation.

Graduate of an accredited nursing school, current RN license in Texas, Basic Life Support certification, with a minimum of 12 months RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program. Knowledge of hospital policies and confidentiality is essential.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills; ability to work in a high-tech, demanding setting; commitment to continuous improvement and patient safety.

Ensure quality patient care, promote a collaborative environment, and engage in professional development. Responsible for patient education, documentation, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
