Shift time: 6:45pm - 7:15am
The Staff RN of the Medical/Surgical Unit provides high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic, spine, ENT, ophthalmology, cosmetic, urology, oral maxillofacial and other surgeries as scheduled, as well as patients undergoing medical substance abuse detoxification. The Staff Nurse adheres to the standards of care and practice and acts as a resource to other staff members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Education & Training:
- Associate's degree in nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse required.
- Experience in Med/Surg, Spine, Ortho, ENT, or Medical Detox is preferred.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Current RN license in the state of Texas
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as employees may occasionally be required to operate a company vehicle. Reasonable accommodations may be provided as required by law.
- Key

- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and patient assessment capabilities.

- Adaptability and flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed.
