This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic care and light inpatient rounding, within a collaborative, physician-led environment.

You will work closely with a highly experienced clinical team, including advanced practice providers and dedicated support staff.

Position Overview- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Locations: Weekly rotation between Dallas and Heath clinics
- Hospital Rounding: Light inpatient rounding across Dallas, Plano, Rockwall, and Rowlett
- Call: 1:4 weekend rotation
- EMR: eClinical
Works (outpatient) and Epic (inpatient)
This is primarily an outpatient role with a manageable inpatient component and strong clinical support.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiology patients in the outpatient setting
- Perform and document history, physical exams, and follow-up care in the EMR
- Review and communicate diagnostic testing results, including imaging
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinical staff on patient care plans
- Triage patient needs, including messaging, pre-operative clearance, and peer-to-peer reviews
- Provide oversight for in-office testing (CT, PET CT, nuclear stress testing)
- NP or PA from an accredited program
- Nurse Practitioners: AGACNP required
- Minimum 5 years of cardiology experience required
- Active Texas license in good standing
- DEA and Controlled Substance Registration
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Physician-led, clinically focused environment
