Registered Nurse – Oncology

Oncology Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care and support treatment protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer blood and electrolyte replacements, sterile dressing changes, and monitor infection prevention measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in the Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment plans.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and critical situations, providing support during procedures and emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of oncology nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention.
• Knowledge of blood and electrolyte replacement protocols.
• Familiarity with ports, central lines, and common oncology procedures preferred.
• Excellent team player with patient-centered approach.
