Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based at White Rock Medical Center in Dallas, TX. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, care planning, medication administration, and evaluation of patient responses. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, documenting care in the medical record, and educating patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.

The nurse will monitor patient safety, respond to changes in patient status, and follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. The role also involves participating in quality improvement initiatives, supporting colleagues, and contributing to a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas and graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing).
• Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs and patient status.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with physicians, surgeons, caregiving staff, patients, and families.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and adherence to infection control and regulatory requirements.
• Flexibility to work required shifts (including evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed) and to adapt in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certifications (e.g., Med-Surg, ICU, ER) preferred.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred, with openness to supporting and mentoring less experienced team members.
