Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU, delivering high-quality, compassionate services for critically ill infants. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer advanced neonatal nursing interventions including respiratory management and central line care.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Perform essential procedures such as intubations, broviac management, and PDA ligations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop and implement individualized care strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.
  • Facilitate communication with families to provide education and emotional support.

Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse with relevant neonatal care experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Level III NICU setting.
  • Certifications including BLS and NRP are required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in respiratory management, central line insertion, and care of preemies?28 weeks.
  • Experience with trach infants and care of patients with broviacs.
  • Ability to perform complex procedures such as PDA ligations and gastroschisis reductions.
