Well suited for NPs with a strong background in adult psychiatric evaluation and treatment. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners continue to play a vital role in expanding access to psychiatric care. Many of the organizations we partner with are seeking experienced NPs interested in medication management, collaborative care, and long-term patient relationships.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient response.
• Monitor for medication efficacy, side effects, and safety concerns.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapists and the broader care team to coordinate patient care.

• Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification and state licensure in good standing.
• Active DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Ability to prescribe independently where required by state law.
• Strong clinical judgment and experience with psychiatric medication management.
