Registered Nurse - NICU

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse

Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to critically ill infants in a high-acuity NICU unit. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and ensure the safety and comfort of neonatal patients.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced neonatal care, including respiratory support and central line management.
• Monitor and assess neonates' vital signs, neurological status, and response to treatments.
• Perform procedures such as intubations, central line insertions, and thermoregulation interventions.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical record systems such as Meditech and CPN.
• Collaborate with physicians and families to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of Level III NICU experience.
• Certified in BLS and NRP.
• Experience managing preemies of at least 28 weeks gestation and above.
• Proficiency in respiratory management, including ventilator and intubated patient care.
• Skilled in central line management and various neonatal procedures.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
