• After six months of employment, some positions may be eligible to apply for a hybrid work arrangement based on job responsibilities, operational needs, supervisor approval, and Dallas College policy.
• Academic (Faculty) positions require an on-campus presence,even when teaching online courses, in accordance with statelaw.

The Nurse provides nursing services to promote the physicalhealth and well-being of Dallas College students. Health services provided within an integrated care model within the Dallas College Student Care Network. Nurses work as part of a dynamic team ofmental health and medical care professionals (including social workers, LPCs, psychologists) providing services to students withinthe Dallas College community. Nurses are essential for the daily clinical operations of the Dallas College Health Centers to ensure high-quality health services to students.

Health Services includesa range of services including vaccinations, first aid, health counseling, and outreach.

Normal physical job functions performed within a standard office environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with physical challenges to perform the essential duties and responsibilities.

• Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited nursing program.
  
  Official transcripts required.
• Three (3) years of related nursing experience.
• College health nursing, school nursing, community health nursing preferred.
• Current and valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Current Registered Nurse in the State of Texas, current CPR certification. Official licenses are required.
• Ability to work extended hours beyond the regular 8:00 a.m. –5:00 p.m. workday especially during heavy registration peak timesincluding nights and weekends.
• Bilingual preferred.
