Demonstrates and instructs using knowledge of the applied principles of evidence-based practice.
Provides support at the unit level, the service level, and the organizational level. A key aspect of the role will be tracking, analyzing, and trending process improvements, patient safety outcomes, and continuous readiness activities in patient care, services and organizational functions.
Serves as a resource person and serve as consultant for problem solving and organizational issues.
Serves as a representative on various facility-wide and service specific committees.
Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when evaluating provision of direct and indirect patient care.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age specific components.
Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
Collaborates in the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies, procedures, and/or guidelines.
Demonstrates performance and leadership that is broad enough to improve the care of all areas included within assignments.
Provides peers with formal or informal constructive feedback for improvement.
Supports colleagues and other nurses through knowledge sharing to provide safe, quality nursing care.
Fosters a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of health care professionals.
Leads efforts with management and within the Shared Governance Structure to alleviate identified health care disparities across diverse patient populations.
Evaluates outcomes of evidence-based decisions and practice changes for individuals, groups, and populations.
Responsible for the documented outcomes at the program, service, and organizational level.
Participates in and the management and oversight of programs related to patient safety, continuous survey readiness, performance improvement, data collection, data analysis, and data reporting.
Has knowledge regarding conducting and reporting quality improvement measures, including a sound knowledge of accreditation programs such as:
The Joint Commission (TJC), Office of Inspector General (OIG) and others.

Pay:
