Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Role:

Provides professional nursing care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, age-appropriate care. Demonstrates compassion, effective communication, and accountability while supporting organizational mission and values.

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Supervises team members, maintains a safe environment, ensures accurate documentation, and administers medications and IVs safely. Promotes a collaborative, therapeutic atmosphere and seeks ongoing professional growth.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current Texas RN license, Basic Life Support certification, with at least 12 months of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program. Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and standards is essential. Must work with confidential information and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and technical skills.
