Role Summary

This nursing position involves providing high-level, patient-centered care within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, supervising team members, and maintaining effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues. The role emphasizes building relationships, promoting a safe and therapeutic environment, and continuously seeking professional growth.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current nursing license in the state.
• Basic Life Support certification; additional departmental certifications as required.
• Minimum 12 months of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.
• Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in a dynamic environment.

• Deliver safe, accurate, and timely patient care, including medication and IV administration.
• Communicate clearly, build collaborative relationships, and promote a positive team environment.
• Assume accountability for performance and professional development.
• Utilize the nursing process to ensure quality care throughout the patient episode.
• Contribute to creating a safe, therapeutic setting for patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to hospital standards.
