Job Summary

Registered Nurse (Full‑time, Day shift 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, weekends rotating) delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with department and state standards. Collaborates with medical providers and care team members to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.

• Assess patient condition during admission and at the start of each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action if an unintended response occurs.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate patient needs, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, potential side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology into understandable language.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associate’s degree acceptable; BSN required within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Texas or a compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Minimum of one year acute‑care hospital experience.
