Registered Nurse Mother Baby​/Postpartum

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care for mother-baby and postpartum patients in a busy hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver optimal maternal and neonatal care during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care to mothers and newborns, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, progress, and response to treatments accurately.
• Support breastfeeding and postpartum education for new mothers.
• Assist with procedures such as phototherapy, blood sugar checks, and IV antibiotic administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Adhere to infection control standards and hospital policies, including scrub attire and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with recent Mother Baby or Postpartum experience.
• Demonstrate practical knowledge of NICU/postpartum procedures.
• Have at least 1 year of RN experience in maternal or neonatal units.
• Possess BLS and NRP certification.
• Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and flexibility skills.
• Be able to work 7 PM to 7 AM shifts, including weekends.
