This position works under the general supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider, and/or nursing leadership to deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical ICU. Our Medical ICU RN's work collaboratively with leadership to prioritize changes that will meaningfully improve patient safety and interdisciplinary clinical communication both during hospitalization and at transitions of care. You will also develop team/program goals and objectives for high impact EMR transformation in key areas.

Required Education Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
Experience One (1) year of experience working as a registered nurse (RN) in a critical care or intensive care unit (ICU)
License and Certifications Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Texas Board of Nursing or with a multistate license from Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state BLS/ACLS accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience Three (3) or more year of experience working as a registered nurse (RN) in a high acuity critical care or intensive care unit (ICU)
License and Certifications Licensed RN with CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) Certification (In addition to required certifications)
