Travel RN - Transplant Service

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

The Travel RN for Transplant Service will primarily engage in desk work, requiring proficiency in Medi Tech and Microsoft applications. This outpatient position will involve minimal direct patient interaction but may include rooming and assessing patients on occasion. The RN will participate in Web Ex meetings as needed and must be flexible in patient assignments, including pre, waitlist, and post solid organ transplant cases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computer-based tasks, including data entry and patient record management.
• Participate in clinic days for patient assessment and documentation.
• Flexibly manage assignments related to patient care needs across solid organ transplant processes.
• Maintain a caring and compassionate demeanor in addressing complex patient psychosocial needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred:
  Two (2) or more years of transplant experience.
• Experience with UNOS and Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO) is desirable.
