Travel RN - Labor and Delivery
Location:
Dallas, TX
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week including weekends as needed.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for our Labor and Delivery unit. The nurse will primarily care for high-risk obstetrical patients, working in a fast-paced environment. The unit supports approximately 24 beds with ratios of 2:1 and 3:1 based on patient acuity.
- Provide high-risk obstetrical bedside care.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals using advanced fetal monitoring systems.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and post-delivery recovery care.
- Respond to emergency situations within the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current RN license in the state of Texas.
- Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate preferred.
- Experience with high-acuity patients and conducting C-sections.
