Pyramid Healthcare’s detox and residential treatment facility in Dallas, Pennsylvania, provides a comprehensive approach to addiction recovery for those seeking effective and compassionate care.

The Registered Nurse plays an essential role in the delivery of treatment services at Pyramid Healthcare. This position is responsible for providing direct nursing care, nursing assessments, medication administration, client education, and clinical support services in accordance with organizational policies, physician orders, nursing standards of practice, accreditation standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.

The Registered Nurse collaborates with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical staff, and interdisciplinary treatment team members to promote client safety, continuity of care, positive treatment outcomes, and quality service delivery.

The RN rate is $35/hr plus shift differential

Shift:

7:00am - 7:00pm or 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Shift differentials:

1st Shift: Saturday and Sunday $1.50

2nd Shift differentials: (Monday
- Friday) $1.00, Saturday and Sunday $2.00

3rd Shift Differentials: (Monday
- Friday) $2.00, Saturday and Sunday $3.00

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care and clinical services to clients in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and organizational policies.
  • Complete nursing assessments, reassessments, and related clinical documentation for admissions and ongoing treatment needs.
  • Administer medications and monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and client response to treatment.
  • Monitor and implement withdrawal management protocols, including completion of COWS, CIWA, and other clinical assessment tools as applicable.
  • Provide medication education, health education, and nursing support to clients and families as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and support physicians, nurse practitioners, and other medical providers during assessments, medication management appointments, and treatment planning activities.
  • Monitor client health status and communicate significant clinical findings, concerns, and changes in condition to appropriate treatment team members.
  • Provide guidance and support to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) regarding client care assignments and nursing activities as appropriate.
  • Maintain medical equipment, medication storage areas, and clinical supplies in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team members to support continuity of care and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with treatment team members to support client care, communication, and continuity of services.
  • Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality with regard to all company information.
  • Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Licensure, Education, &

Experience:
  • Current unencumbered RN license in Pennsylvaniarequired.
  • Current CPR/BLS, and First Aid required.
  • Background or experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred.
  • Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders preferred.
