Schedule: Full-Time
- Salary: $51.17 – $76.75/hour, based on experience

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead an Emergency Department within a large, high-acuity tertiary care hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nursing leader who is passionate about emergency services, team development, quality improvement, and delivering exceptional patient care.
Department Overview:- 41 wall beds + 16 hallway beds
- Approximately 35 FTEs
- Large tertiary-care hospital environment
- Collaborative multidisciplinary and physician teams
- Lead, plan, organize, delegate, and evaluate Emergency Department operations.
- Provide leadership and oversight for nursing staff and patient care delivery.
- Develop strong working relationships with physicians, employees, patients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with hospital and department leadership to ensure compliance with nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
- Drive quality improvement, patient safety, operational efficiency, and exceptional patient outcomes.
- Partner with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement programs that enhance patient care.
- Address operational, staffing, and patient-care issues effectively and efficiently.
Education:
- BSN required
- Advanced degree preferred
Certifications:
- Current Texas RN license or compact RN license
- BLS – AHA or ARC
- ACLS & PALS – AHA or ARC within 6 months
- TNCC within 18 months
- ENPC or CEN within 18 months
- 5+ years of progressive management experience
- Experience supervising and developing nursing staff
- Budget preparation and financial management experience
- Strong physician relationship management skills
- Experience resolving operational and patient-care issues
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
