At least 2 years of recent cath lab nursing experience is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are necessary.

Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Recommended skills include proficiency in cardiovascular anatomy, catheterization techniques, and operating specialized equipment. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are valued.
